Quickstart

Go from an idea to a published app by describing what you want, testing the result, and publishing when it is ready.

Create your app

Start by describing the app you want to build in plain language. You do not need to write code to get started; the editor generates a complete working app from your prompt.

Good first prompts describe:

  • What the app should help users do
  • The main screens or workflow
  • Any important data the app should save
  • The visual style or tone you want

For example: "Build a simple habit tracker where I can add habits, check them off daily, see my streaks, and view progress for the week."

Test in preview

Use the preview pane to test the app before publishing. The preview shows the current version you are working on, so you can try the main user flows and catch issues early.

Check the basics before publishing:

  • Try the primary workflow from start to finish
  • Test empty states, long text, and invalid inputs
  • Resize the preview to check smaller screens
  • Use Build mode to ask the AI to fix anything that behaves incorrectly

Preview data is temporary. AI features used in preview can still consume AI credits.

Publish and share

When the app works the way you want, click "Review & publish" in the editor. You will review the app details, choose visibility, and publish the app.

Visibility controls who can access it:

  • Public apps can appear on your profile and become eligible for discovery
  • Unlisted apps are available to anyone with the direct link
  • Private apps are only available to you

Published apps get a shareable link and can be installed as Progressive Web Apps on phones and desktops.

Keep improving

Every change creates a new version. You can keep prompting for improvements, test them in preview, and publish updates when they are ready.

If a change breaks something, use version history to preview older versions and restore one without deleting the rest of your history.
