Referral Rewards

Every public or unlisted app you publish can act as a referral path when new users discover the platform through your app.

How Referrals Work

No setup is required. When someone discovers the platform by opening one of your published apps, signs up, and verifies their email, referral rewards can be awarded automatically.

The flow is:

  1. A new user enters the platform through a link to one of your public or unlisted apps.
  2. They create an account from that app experience.
  3. They verify their email.
  4. Rewards are applied when the referral is eligible.

Who Earns

Both sides can benefit:

  • The creator earns up to 2,000 in referral reward credits for bringing a new user to the platform.
  • The new user receives up to 2,000 in bonus credits on top of the standard email verification bonus.

Referral rewards accrue in your reward balance. You can spend them as credits on the platform, or withdraw to your bank as earnings if you are in the US and have completed Stripe Connect setup. The new user's bonus is spendable platform credits.

Exact amounts are dynamic and subject to platform limits.

Eligibility

Referral rewards are intended for new users who enter the platform through your app's shared link and complete email verification. We attribute the referral to the app a visitor first lands on. Visitors who arrive through the homepage or the Explore page and only later open your app, existing users, incomplete signups, or activity that does not originate from your shared link may not qualify.

Rewards are reserved for high-trust accounts (for example, verified accounts or subscribers). Lower-trust or unverified accounts may not earn.

Public and unlisted apps can participate. Private apps are not useful referral paths because other users cannot access them.

Best Practices

Share apps that are useful on their own. A clear title, description, and first-run experience helps new users understand why they should sign up. For tactics on getting your apps in front of more people, see Marketing Your App.
