Build Overview
Building apps on Anything App starts with plain language. Describe what you want, preview the generated app, and keep asking for changes until it is ready to publish.
How building works
The editor is designed for both non-technical and technical creators. You can create fully functional apps by describing your idea in natural language, then refine the result through follow-up prompts.
Each prompt in Build mode generates a new version of your app with the requested changes applied. You can test that version in the preview pane before publishing.
Build with or without code
Most users never need to touch code. You can add features, adjust layouts, fix issues, and polish the app by describing the result you want.
Technical users can also view and edit the generated code directly for precise changes, performance tweaks, custom logic, or learning how the AI implemented a feature.
Core workflow
- Describe your app idea or the change you want to make.
- Let the AI generate a complete app version.
- Test the app in the preview pane.
- Iterate by requesting changes or refinements.
- Publish when you are happy with the result.
Start simple, then add detail as you see the app take shape. This usually leads to better results than trying to specify every feature at once.
Where to go next
- Use What you can build to explore the main AI, data, file, UI, and notification building blocks.
- Use Prompting effectively to write clearer build prompts.
- Use Editor modes to choose between changing your app and asking questions.
- Use Uploading assets to include logos, images, JSON, or CSV data.
- Use Testing in preview before publishing.
- Use Debugging errors when something breaks or behaves unexpectedly.
- Use Versions and restore to review past versions and recover earlier work.
- Use Editing code if you want direct control over generated code.
